Bill Self was one of America's most famous and richest basketball coaches. He was born December 27, 1962, in Okmulgee. As of December 11, 2023 Bill has a net of around $10 million. Bill was director of the team at Kansas for 2013. He was the assistant coach to freshman sensation Andrew Wiggins. Self spent the next 3 years (1998-2000) at Tulsa and he posted an Tulsa record of 74%-27. Self coached TU's Golden Hurricane into consecutive NCAA tournaments in 1999 and 2000. Self led the Golden Hurricane, which had an average of 32-5 over 1999-2000. Self also helped the Golden Hurricane reach its first Elite Eight.
