Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles on a number of TV shows, and for her enthralling performances in movies. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily Irene VanCamp. Emily first became interested when she saw her sibling Katie performing in a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting Emily decided to enroll in classes to learn about it and started to audition. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? She was only seen in one scene with no any dialogue. In the year 15 Emily got her first big break when she became a regular on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was canceled after nine short episodes. The show's creator cast Emily in Everwood the new television show. Emily was a professional dancer, and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the top young actress. Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
