Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. She is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta, beginning with her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Early in his life, her dad became fascinated by the theatre. While he was a pupil studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he was a part of numerous performances. He joined the air force in 1953. During his time working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple by themselves. Later that year they founded the Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for a period of six years. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the name Julie).
